Barber Wedding 5.16.09 (TEASERS)

Katie and Jake are wonderful! I have been working with Katie to coordinate their wedding for over 9 months and I'm sad it's over! I have to post a few teasers for those who have been waiting.. but I honestly can't wait for the pro pics from Kris!! Their wedding was perfectly pink and brown with a few surprises for the bride and groom. Here's a little sneak peak...

Cupcakes! The stand was made by Jake's father and was seriously amazing! He also made the card box and I can't tell you how many people asked where we bought both things! He's super talented and needs to start mass producing his talent!

Pink Candy Buffet..total hit!

Katie's family surprised the couple with Thundersticks for the grand entrance!! We placed a pink and brown one on every guest's chair for them to blow up before Katie and Jake arrived!

MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Another Birthday came and went yesterday. I wanted to take the time to post HOW incredibly lucky I am to have such amazing friends and family around me. I don't know what I did in life to deserve these people...but wow am I grateful for each and everyone of them. I'm also so amazed at the support and love from everyone as I embark on launching my own company. My sister in-law to be (on June 20th) and big brother bought me a totally thoughtful beautiful bag filled with fun accessories for Simplicity...she literally thought of everything for me, pink pens, Anthropologie file folders and stationary, a pink business card holder and a million more thoughtful (perfect) things I love.

Thank you to everyone and I am thankful for everyone in my life.

Andrus Wedding 9.27.09

Michelle and Matt are two of the most creative people I have ever met and more than a perfect match. I was lucky enough to DOC their wedding in September 2008 and work with amazing vendors! Michelle also did a lot of things herself...including the stationary and 16 foot candy buffet!! Her mother, Gayle did all of the flowers, I MEAN feathers!! The personal touches were amazing and the guest's were able to enjoy every minute of it, including the DJ AND Michelle's Father's band! P.s Did I mention I LOVE Michelle and Matt's Families!! They are the most gracious and loving people.

Katie and John's Shower!!

Katie and Johnny's shower was PERFECT!! Everything and everyone came together and made it a beautiful and great time!! The Royal Park Hotel was amazing and the staff was unbelievable and make any coordinator look like a super star. Here are some photos from the event!

Each table had beautiful menu cards by Gourmet Invitations, colored bottles with orchids or gerber daisies, pink candy, trail mix with pink m&ms, and the fun Vera Bradley luggage tags and Godiva chocolates for favors! Also, I made fun books to determine the winner of the centerpiece.
