Lisa + Mario 9.05.09

Here is a sneak peak (finally!) of the tropical inspired wedding of Lisa and Mario. I was so lucky to work with Lisa and Mario this past holiday weekend. I was even luckier to meet their awesome family and friends at the wedding. Their wedding really did have a tropical feel and great attention to detail with lighting (Lisa has amazing taste!). Their cake and flowers were UNBELIEVABLE!! I definitely enjoyed setting up and coordinating their many details. You can tell these two really just care about one another and are on the same wave length.
The beautiful place card table. Lisa really had a great vision for this table, and it turned out amazing. We included the memory table on the far end of this table and it all came together (with the help of Christopher from Christopher & Company) complete with the pineapple fountain in the center!

The flowers were beautiful along with the linens and table numbers!Their cake was BEAUTIFUL!Lisa and Mario were all about making sure their guest's didn't leave hungry! Lisa's mom and friends baked all of these sweets for their sweet table! It looked and smelled amazing!

09.04.09 Becky + Jason

Becky and Jason decided they needed a little last minute help and after Becky's uncle saw us in action at Becky's cousin's wedding he suggested she call us. I am so glad they did because Becky was so much fun to work with! As soon as she said she was having a black and white wedding with ostrich feathers I knew she was a bride after my own heart. The wedding was amazing and their families are a total blast. Here are some pictures:

One last look at the bride and groom before I ran back to the reception hall.

The wedding cake on a gorgeous linen. The bottom 3 layers are fake, can't tell can you!?

Becky's dog has quite the reputation as a "devil dog" who isn't too fond of Jason. So the groom's cake was her dog ripping the ribbon off the wedding cake! It was hilarious and amazing.

It was Jason's birthday as well as his wedding day! We wheeled out a surprise birthday cake and sang to him. This golf bag and clubs looked realistic and tasted great too.

Entering the hall with the seating charts, guestbook and the spectacular floral arrangements.

The guests took home glass coasters and personalized water bottles after signing the signature mat.

There were several types of centerpieces which really brought some great variety into the room while still making it look cohesive (and gorgeous!).

I would like to mention that Becky and Jason selected some really fantastic vendors to work with. Rachel, John and their staff at Partridge Creek were phenomenal. I was impressed with Diana from Silver Sounds, she really kept the party going. The cakes and the flowers were absolutely incredible. I am definitely looking forward to seeing the professional pictures!!

Congratulations Becky and Jason (and happy birthday too!). You two are adorable and I wish you many years of wedded bliss. I hope to work with your families again soon!

Shutterbooth!

While at the Palace Bridal Show this past Sunday, I got to hop into a photobooth and get some pictures taken with our friends at Shutterbooth! They made me a cute little bookmark out of the photostrip.

Now, if you have never heard of Shutterbooth, now is the time to check them out. Photobooths are a super cool addition to your wedding reception. The photostrips are a great guest favor and Shutterbooth offers a ton of fantastic options like a scrapbook for the bride and groom.

The reason I wanted to blog about Shutterbooth is because they now offer a really great new feature. While in the photobooth, guests can create 20 second video clips congratulating the bride and groom. Contact kim@shutterbooth.com for more information regarding this fun new service!
