The very talented Emily Zoldaz just posted some fabulous teasers of Kelly + Jason's wedding. Gorgeous!!! I wanted to post a couple of them here, especially of the ceremony, since I didn't have many of my own. Check out Emily's blog post for more photos. ♥Shelly

Kelly + Jason 09.10.11
Buckle your seat belts, you are in for a long post!!
This wedding was elegant, classy, gorgeous and fun. The vendors were superstars. If I were to envision the perfect country club wedding, this would be it. As you may or may not know, my background is in architecture. This venue was rebuilt recently in a contemporary prairie style that I just loved. The stone on the outside and the beautiful tile and wood on the inside were a great backdrop. Not to mention the awesome lake view from the ceremony area outside.
Kelly's mom Mary was referred to me by a previous client (which is a huge honor). They expressed the need for a little help, especially with the bride and groom living out of state. Everything really came together brilliantly and I am so proud to say that I got to be part of the team. Speaking of the team, I really have to give a shout out to 2 amazing wedding professionals.
First there is Kendall (and her staff) at Oak Pointe. She is a wonderful event director and she really made the extra effort to ensure that the day went exactly as we had all hoped. I really hope that we will work together again soon because it was so much fun! Second, there is Tim S. from Mike Staff. He was awesome (and hilarious)!! The three of us *may* have high fived when we nailed the timeline to the minute.
Ok back to gushing about the wedding.... we were afraid that the weather would prevent us from the outdoor ceremony but it dried up and was FANTASTIC outside. The guests got to ride down in golf carts, which was a ton of fun. The bride looked absolutely gorgeous in her Vera Wang gown. I cannot wait to see the professional pictures of this adorable couple.
Then we went inside for a delicious dinner and some dancing. It was like in the movies... I swear everyone knew how to move on the dance floor like it was choreographed! The dance floor was packed all night long.
Enough of me talking, I know you want pictures. I promise to post even more pictures on our Facebook page and I will try to get the pro pics from Emily as soon as I can... make sure to check back soon for that post.
Make sure you check Facebook soon for more pictures, I just couldn't post them all here.
Thank you so much to Kelly, Jason, and their families. You all were so wonderful and I truly enjoyed my time with you. The wedding was spectacular and I think it was only the beginning to a lifetime of awesomeness =) Congratulations again!! ♥Shelly

You are about to see a lot of wooden decor... during a recent storm a large tree fell on Kelly's parent's property and they decided to make good use of it. I loved the rustic, warm feeling it brought to the celebration.
Here is the view from the ceremony location outside
Seconds before walking down the aisle... I couldn't help snapping a picture with my phone because her gown was so amazing
Adorable escort cards in little tree branch holders. Yes, that is a cow and a fish to indicate meal choices.
Guestbook and photos of the couple and their parents on their wedding days
"Log In". This was awesome. When they cut up the tree they realized that the slice looked like a heart! So everyone signed and put their wedding date. Loved it.
Goooorgeous centerpieces, so sparkly.
Head table with the super fabulous linens
Cake! You know I have a sweet tooth.
How much do you love this cake topper!? It was custom made to look like the couple. I love love love it, that's how much.
Drool-worthy decor
More love.
Listening to some touching and funny toasts
Mmmmmmm... what's even better than cake? Rocky Mountain caramel apples drizzled in 3 kinds of chocolate. Yep, those were the favors.
Make sure you check Facebook soon for more pictures, I just couldn't post them all here.

Allison and Alvin 09.03.11
CAMP AL!
This wedding was held on the surface of the sun. I think I lost about 12 pounds doing cardio, I mean, running around setting everything up. Ok, not really, but it was that hot that day! No one seemed to mind however, because the actual venue was super fun. I have never done a wedding at a summer camp, but after months of anticipation I can finally say I have... and it was awesome.
Allison and Alvin are a really laid back couple and they are into outdoor activities and conservation....I couldn't have thought of a more perfect setting for their wedding. I say this a lot, but I really love the weddings that are so in tune with the couple's personality. Those are the weddings that you will always remember and I am sure the Als' guests would never forget this one.
All their friends and family pitched in to make this wedding special. From the DJ and photographer, to the home brewed beer and flowers you could see how much these two are loved. It was so much fun working with everyone and letting the day flow naturally. We even made some big last minute changes and no one skipped a beat.... they just danced and partied well into the night.
Sorry for the pictures being all out of order... I am fighting with Blogger today (and losing).
I need to start you off with a map of the venue...... so you can be jealous of all the sweet things that the guests got to experience camping onsite for the weekend, including a zip line and water slide!

You know the wedding has to be awesome if the first sight you see when exiting your vehicle is a bouncy castle...
Beautifully scripted escort cards
Outdoor ceremony by the lake
Gorgeous tea set for the Chinese tea ceremony
Mid tea cermeony
The cafeteria transformed into a very unique reception venue. They collected various table linens and napkins from family and friends so every table was different. Then a simple sunflower in a wine bottle as a centerpiece.
Gift table with wishing well card box and Chinese symbol to bring good fortune
The yummy cake... every time I walked by I could smell the amazing chocolate frosting and had to resist eating it all
Escort card table with floating sunflowers in glass vases
Escort card table and gift table in the corner of the dancing room
Super adorable guestbook... which was also a reading in the ceremony
Love this groom's cake... obviously reflecting the camp/nature theme
Another view of the room with the green paper lanterns... I may or may not have hit myself in the face with a couple while hanging them up. Several times.
The table setup was so comforting and homey. The bride and groom's table had some LED candles and the little take out boxes had supplies for s'mores!!! Cutest idea for a favor ever... perfect for camp!
Yeah, yeah... I am no photographer but I wanted to include this picture to show how cute the bride and groom are! And how unique the bride's dress was, I loved it and wanted to steal it. She said it came from BCBG if you are curious. I promise to get better pictures from the photographer and post them soon.
Allison and Alvin, congratulations you did it! I had so much fun on your wedding day and I am so happy that I got to meet and work with you. Yours was an unforgettable wedding that I will be talking about for years to come. ♥Shelly

I have known Lisa for a few years and she is such an amazing person. I was very excited when she contacted me to coordinate her wedding! I knew from the start it was going to be a blast because Lisa and Tony are a blast. They are a wonderful couple and you know it from the first time you see them together. It was so fun getting to know Lisa's parents and this wedding was a true labor of love from this family. The team of vendors could not have been any better! The entire team worked very well together to make all of Lisa + Tony's ideas and wishes a reality
