Jesse + Steve 10.15.2011

It's been over two years and I am finally dedicating some time to revisit my 2011 + 2012 Weddings to get all of my pictures and memories of their Wedding out on the blog.  Jesse is nothing short of awesome…she is so cool, calm and collected and such a bright light.  I loved meeting her and her mom (not just because they fed me fresh rolls and butter at our meetings) and working with them to help create/execute their GRAND dessert and Cupcake Station, since they did all of the baking themselves (they are SO TALENTED).   It was pretty much out of this world and took a team of four to set up!  I'm sorry I have waited so long to post this…Thank you for trusting me with your precious baked goods and the set up.  It was wonderful working with you!

Sarah + Paul 9.23.13

Sarah + Paul had their lovely Wedding this past weekend in Detroit.  One of my Fall goals is to catch up on the blog- I swear I am trying, so as I was writing all of Paul + Sarah's Vendors telling they rock and thanking them for such an amazing and successful event, I wandered over here to my dusty blog to make sure I was able to capture all of the emotion fresh after the weekend of this Wedding!  Every single event reminds me how lucky I am to be doing what I love and to be able to work with so many great people during one of the very most important days of their lives-this one was extra special to me.  Paul + Sarah were referred to me by a past Simplicity Couple...another reminder of how lucky I am to be able to continue to do what I love by word of mouth.
When Paul + Sarah contacted me, I couldn't wait to meet with them to get started.  They are an adorable couple, just so excited to get married an celebrate with their family and friends.  When they told me they were going to hold their Reception at the  Belle Isle Casino, I grew even more excited.  I had not worked with some of the vendors before, which always is fun for me to meet new event professionals.  All of us clicked so well and worked together to make everything run perfectly, it was an awesome feeling to see everyone work together and everything turn out the way it did.
Thank you to Sarah + Paul for trusting me with bringing everything together, I admire your creativity and you two are so stinking cute together...I really enjoyed working with you both and I wish you tons of happiness and love!!!

Laura + Justin 9.24.11

I now have waited over a year to catch up on the blog with all of my 2011 Weddings, but I have not forgotten how lucky I was to work with such wonderful couples and vendors doing what I love.
Silk Thumb sent Laura my way and I was so happy to work with her the second I met her. She is such a beautiful person with a very sweet demeanor.  I was very excited to work at Fox Hills, and excited to work with vendors I had heard wonderful things about, but have not worked directly with before. Laura had so many creative ideas for their Wedding and I was so excited to be a part of the event. The outdoor Ceremony was stunning, I had tears in my eyes sending Laura down the aisle. The day was perfect and you could tell Justin and Laura have wonderful friends and family that helped make their day amazing...

Amy + Gary 8.27.2011

I loved everything about this Wedding, but I most of all loved Amy, her mom and her awesome Bridesmaids. Amy had so many great ideas, and her creativity was inspiring! The Wedding was a car themed event, because cars are such a large part of their lives.  At the Ceremony guests were treated to a private classic car show, as the Bridal Party lined the Church parking lot with their beautiful classic cars-the transportation of their choice.  Who needs a limo when you have beautiful cars?!  The car theme carried into the Reception, and you could hear the guests loving the details-Amy thought of everything!  I was so happy to be a part of this wedding with Moe, who was the head coordinator on this event.  Amy + Gary's Wedding was just awesome, everyone had a total blast!!! Thank you for letting Simplicity be a part of it!
