Katie and Mike are flat out fun. They are laid back and have fantastic personal style (especially when it comes to shoes!). They chose to have an outdoor ceremony on the grounds of the Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle and then inside to the Fountain room for an (air-conditioned) reception. The day was beautiful and warm and the breeze off the water was perfect.
Katie's parents are super sweet and her sister is awesome. Mike's family is a riot, especially his mother and aunt who are two of the most glamorous women I have ever met. Their family and friends loved to dance and DJ Kurt made sure they had their favorite songs to party to. It was a fantastic evening and I can't wait to see all the pro pics from Jeff and Kelly from JLB. K&M, thanks for letting me be a part of your big day!! ♥Shelly
