A Simplicity bride recently sent us a nice email about The Brides Project, a non-profit organization that raises funds for the programs of the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor by selling donated bridal gowns at their boutique in downtown Ann Arbor. We wanted to help get the world out to our brides, past and present. With all of the profits from the sale of the gowns going to the Cancer Support Community, a bride can donate her dress and know that not only is she benefiting the lives of those touched by cancer, she will be giving the chance for another bride to purchase her dress and give back as well.

Alison + Jared 8.20.2011 Pro Pics
Alison + Jared had an amazing duo shooting their wedding...the team at Arising Images. Take a peak at their blog to see the real beauty of this Pine Knob Wedding because we all know my photos are a long way from being professional...I will stick to Wedding Planning!
It was wondering working with the Arising Images Team!

Alison + Jared 8.20.2011
Alison and Jared's Jewish fusion wedding was beautiful! I met Alison in college and I was honored to be asked to coordinate her wedding. I really enjoyed working with Alison + Jared and visiting with their adorable pups. With a fusion wedding there are always so many details to coordinate, but everything fell into place perfectly and the wedding was not only beautiful but it was a total blast. Alison was such a beautiful and calm bride, and the weather cleared up at the perfect time for their intimate outdoor ceremony. Alison's brother's band kept the dance floor completely packed the entire night!
I always wonder why I even try to capture how amazing the day was with my own camera, yet I take pictures at every wedding I coordinate!
Ceremony Site..so pretty! |
I had a small obsession with this cake..it was beautiful! |
This room is gorgeous and the linens and chairs Alison picked out made it look even more amazing |

Thank you Alison + Jared for trusting in me to coordinate your beautiful wedding. I wish you guys love and happiness!! xxoo, Jill

Kathrine + Matthew 8.6.2011
Kathy + Matthew were one of my many out of town couples of 2011. They were planning their Michigan Wedding from Minnesota. We met a few times and with out of town client's it can be all business all the time...since the time we spend together is so planned out while they are in town visiting friends and knocking out wedding details, I am always lucky to be fit in, but I never want to take up too much of their precious visiting time. SO...although the second I met Kathy and Matthew I LOVED THEM, I never really saw how freaking awesome and funny they are. On the wedding day it was so fun to see them in their true element surrounded by friends and family. Kathy IS HILARIOUS, like a total fire cracker, her and Matthew love to have fun and their friends and family love them so much. I will never forget when Kathy changed their cake cutting song a few minutes before their Grand Entrance...and out of all of the weddings I do, I will never forget the song she picked! Kathy + Matthew continued to surprise me with their ease and elegance. They are meant to be. They never stopped smiling! We had a great evening with a wonderful team of vendors at a great venue!
The room at Twin Lakes looked great! |

Heidi + Jonathan 7.16.11 Part II
I first posted about Heidi + Jonathan here. I love them, I know I already said this, but I seriously loved working with them, and it's not just because they live in my city :). I really got to know these two while working with them over a few months and both of them were at every meeting. They were so true to their ideas and vision for their wedding day, everything was perfect! The Scarab Club was the perfect venue and incredibly unique and I was so lucky to join a team of amazing vendors. I am so thankful to have worked with them. As their first anniversary approaches, I wish them many more years of happiness and love!
The wedding was wonderful, Mary Ann Ross kept the dance floor packed the entire night and the guests were there until the very end. I am so grateful to have been a part of Heidi and Jonathan's Wedding day and so happy to have worked with an amazing vendor team! Happy almost ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY xxoo, Jill
