Lauren + Kyle 8.31.13

When Lauren emailed me (the sweetest) email letting me know she wanted me to coordinate her Wedding, I was so honored and excited!! Lauren is a friend from High School, which always makes coordinating a wedding even more of an honor.  She is a beautiful, smart, caring, FUNNY woman, and I knew Kyle must be a pretty special guy to have captured her heart..and he really is. They are adorable together. The first time I met him, I could tell the two of them had something special.  I was able to work with Lauren's mom since Lauren lives in the South, and I really enjoyed it-both Lauren and her mom have such a elegant eye, and the entire mood surrounding the wedding was elegance yet Simplicity. Lauren and her mom were so cool, calm and collected the entire process.  The Wedding was stunning, and elegant, but comfortable and inviting.

The staff at Meadow Brook was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I really enjoyed worked with each and every vendor.  The dance floor was packed the entire night and the guests were not ready for the party to be over.

Kristen + Jason 10.8.2011

I am not even sure how I was so lucky to work with Kristen, but I enjoyed every minute of it- I am pretty sure it was because Liz from The Parsonage sent her my way, but anyway I loved it! (THANK YOU LIZ!).  Not only was she an absolute beautiful Bride, but she is such a kind and thoughtful person. It was such a beautiful day with wonderful personal touches from Kristen and Jason- everyone had a total blast. Fall Weddings always have a special place in my heart,  I love the colors, the flowers, the weather, everything!

Amye + Phil 3.2.13

Better late than never..right…late as in over a year, but that's ok. It's not that I don't like blogging, it's finding the time that is the issue for me.
I was hired to day of coordinate Amye + Phil's Wedding by her Bridesmaids…what a great gift, if I do say so myself!  I loved working with Amye + Phil and loved working their Winter Wedding.  Amye is literally one of the sweetest people ever, and I am happy that I am still able to keep in touch with her.  She is also an insanely talented graphic designer, and I hope when I find more time I can work with her, this time as her client! As I always do in my first posts, I share my pictures from the day that I took, they never do the job of capturing even half of the beauty, but I love at least sharing them.

Jesse + Steve 10.15.2011

It's been over two years and I am finally dedicating some time to revisit my 2011 + 2012 Weddings to get all of my pictures and memories of their Wedding out on the blog.  Jesse is nothing short of awesome…she is so cool, calm and collected and such a bright light.  I loved meeting her and her mom (not just because they fed me fresh rolls and butter at our meetings) and working with them to help create/execute their GRAND dessert and Cupcake Station, since they did all of the baking themselves (they are SO TALENTED).   It was pretty much out of this world and took a team of four to set up!  I'm sorry I have waited so long to post this…Thank you for trusting me with your precious baked goods and the set up.  It was wonderful working with you!
Yes everything was just as delicious as it looks!

Sarah + Paul 9.23.13

Sarah + Paul had their lovely Wedding this past weekend in Detroit.  One of my Fall goals is to catch up on the blog- I swear I am trying, so as I was writing all of Paul + Sarah's Vendors telling they rock and thanking them for such an amazing and successful event, I wandered over here to my dusty blog to make sure I was able to capture all of the emotion fresh after the weekend of this Wedding!  Every single event reminds me how lucky I am to be doing what I love and to be able to work with so many great people during one of the very most important days of their lives-this one was extra special to me.  Paul + Sarah were referred to me by a past Simplicity Couple...another reminder of how lucky I am to be able to continue to do what I love by word of mouth.
When Paul + Sarah contacted me, I couldn't wait to meet with them to get started.  They are an adorable couple, just so excited to get married an celebrate with their family and friends.  When they told me they were going to hold their Reception at the  Belle Isle Casino, I grew even more excited.  I had not worked with some of the vendors before, which always is fun for me to meet new event professionals.  All of us clicked so well and worked together to make everything run perfectly, it was an awesome feeling to see everyone work together and everything turn out the way it did.
Thank you to Sarah + Paul for trusting me with bringing everything together, I admire your creativity and you two are so stinking cute together...I really enjoyed working with you both and I wish you tons of happiness and love!!!
